About the UX Strategist position

We are looking for a skilled UX Strategist who will provide answers to the most challenging questions in our product’s design. You will reveal what the consumers need from our clients' products by conducting research, exploring consumer behaviour and motivation, and work with the Product Design, Product Management, and Product Development (engineers) departments in developing new product features based on human psychology.

This role also plays a huge part in inspiring change at all stages of the product’s development through the delivery of exciting written, oral, and visual presentations about your findings. However, your most fundamental role is to assist the entire team in understanding what would ensure that the consumer’s experience with our clients' products feels more intuitive, accessible, but overall, magical.

UX Strategist responsibilities are:

  • Analyse and meet product specifications and user expectations
  • Perform concept and usability testing and gather feedback
  • Create personas, user journeys and other UX deliverables based on user research results
  • Create right interaction models and evaluate their success
  • Solve UX problems, such as usability or accessibility, using a creative approach
  • Collaborate with UX and UI designers to implement attractive designs and intuitive workflows
  • Discuss design ideas and prototypes with designers and developers
  • Stay informed about competitor products and industry trends

UX Strategist requirements are:

  • 4+ years' experience of working on a UX Strategist, UX Designer or other relevant position
  • Significant experience with design software and a solid portfolio of design projects
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch and the Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent
  • Experience in line management and dealing with external partners
  • Expert knowledge of interaction design and information architecture
  • Excellent knowledge of key research methods
  • Experience in project management will be a bonus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-oriented approach
  • Strong communication skills, confident in presenting ideas and possess good conflict management skills
  • Business strategy experience is desirable but not essential
  • A relevant degree is desirable but not essential where you possess a working experience equivalent. Relevant degrees include a Bachelor’s degree in Business Association, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Information Science, or any other related field.
