Lead Designer
Job description
Our mission is to unlock the next wave of innovation in AI by vastly reducing the barriers to developing custom large language models.
We're looking to hire a great designer who is interested in working directly with the CEO to define the brand for Preemo. Your responsibilities are to:
Develop a strong, informed design and branding point-of-view and unify the organization through a clear vision.
Identify, define and drive innovation initiatives and product features from concept through launch.
Own the end-to-end design process—from blue sky design exploration to UX specs and quality UI designs, while working closely with cross-functional partners to balance polish and speed towards an effective execution.

Our founding team (Chris, Forrest, Mark) are former product and technical leaders who worked on AI systems at Netflix, Google, and Splunk. They set out to build this platform as they were frustrated by the lack of available solutions for AI practitioners.

We’re looking for a lead designer who is excited about the future of AI!
🌉 We’re ideally seeking someone who can work on-site for 2-3 days a week in our downtown Burlingame office.
Preferred qualifications
You have been a product or visual designer working for a startup in the past.
You are familiar with technical products and have dabbled in prototyping / front end coding previously.
You are naturally curious and have a diverse set of interests and skills.
You are interested in deeply understanding and visually communicating the positive impact of AI on society.
