Senior User Experience Designer

At Anivive, we are using software and cutting-edge technologies to change the landscape of pet health. We are developing a diverse suite of technologies to address the unmet medical needs of our pets. Not only do we work to bring new treatments to our pets but we also believe that improving pet health is much more than just developing novel treatments and our software tools help change the way we interact and care for our pets.

We accomplish this by combining artificial intelligence software, biotech, and thoughtful design to change the way new therapies are discovered, developed, and used by people worldwide. Our mission is to use technology to make pet medicine more affordable.

What you'll do

  • Be a creative thinker who can offer unique ideas and see non-obvious solutions

  • Identify the needs of vets and people with pets through user research and data analysis

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers

  • Craft innovative digital and physical products that fulfill user needs while meeting business objectives

  • Design beautiful and intuitive experiences and prototypes

  • Help to develop and maintain a design system, style guides, and creative processes

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communication skills to communicate design decisions to leadership, and software engineers

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous work environment

  • Ability to think at a high level about product strategy

  • Experience incorporating customer feedback and gathering insights from user analytics for continuous improvement after features have shipped

  • Strong visual design skills and a passion for interaction design

  • Proficiency in Figma or similar design software

  • 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer (or equivalent experience)
