Graphic Designer

The Tylt is looking for a driven and dynamic Graphic Designer for the marketing team who will work collaboratively with media production, business development and the product team to create and execute design-centric needs for various parts of the business. This role will be an integral part of ensuring the delivery of consistent visual branding/identity across programs. This is an exciting opportunity to own the marketing design aesthetic at a fun, young and growing company. This role will report directly to the Director of Marketing.


Responsibilities

• Owns the design execution of marketing assets ranging from paid media assets to business development decks

• Demonstrates taste and understanding in layout, typography and visual hierarchy

• Executes consistent designs aligned with existing style guides

• Own the production and communication process for design across teams

• Participates in all aspects of the design phase from ideation to final execution

• Shares work early and often and seeks out constructive feedback from others

• Cares deeply about the quality of their work with a desire for improvement

• Practices effective communication techniques

• Interested & motivated to learn and grow

Requirements

• Online design portfolio

• 1-2 years professional experience

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field

• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator

• Ability to work within established brand guidelines while also knowing how to expand them for a cohesive design system

• Able to use clean, clear typography and layout design for sales materials (ex. one sheets and pitch decks)

• Experience with paid media assets such as ad units

• Illustration and branding design for key art (ex. logos for social verticals)

• Comfortable with simple web design for the ownership of marketing website’s look & feel (ex. Wix or Squarespace)

• Working knowledge of the digital landscape in media, social, design and technology

• Understanding of contemporary design, Internet and youth culture trends

• Effective presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas verbally and in written form
