As our Brand Designer, you will paint the Compology picture to deeply connect to our customers, stakeholders and employees. From ideation to the refinement of each part of the creative process, you will leverage your full range of design and creative skills to drive Compology’s brand design and identity, set guidelines and create assets that amplify our company’s game-changing solutions while building relationships with our prospects and customers. You will lead and deliver on all creative design and branding efforts as a key early marketing hire. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with the VP of Strategy, you’ll be part of a rapidly growing yet seasoned team that succeeds through collaboration, grit and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Visually define the Compology brand, focused on unique design, attention to detail, and creative consistency across applications like the website, campaigns, events, ads, storytelling, etc.
  • Deliver brand guidelines to internal teams and external partners
  • Own design and creative projects from kickoff, through execution and to launch
  • Partner with UX and product to refresh holistic prospect and customer experience

Potential Projects

  • Overall brand refresh and restructure - set visual identity & creative direction for Compology 
  • Ongoing design and creative support across brand and growth marketing channels (organic and paid) and sales enablement to help Compology grow
  • Digital asset creation: website design and overhaul, multi-channel campaign design systems, video production, digital advertising, social media, assets (one-pagers, ebooks, infographics, etc.)
  • Event branding: design system, deck support, sustainable executions, printed collateral
  • Print asset creation: Sales leave-behinds, event collateral, public relations support, print advertising
  • Oversee outside creative contractors and agencies
  • Culture and recruitment branding initiatives like videos, web pages, office decor, swag

What You Bring

  • 4-6+ years in a design role at an agency or in-house team, with at least 1+ year in a leadership role
  • Appetite to understand and shape the big-picture strategy, but also execute on design for target audiences on an ongoing basis
  • Strong background in graphic design, composition, typography, color; as well as audio/video production and best practices, with a belief in innovation, consistency and attention to detail 
  • Expert understanding of creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, After Effects, etc.)
  • Passion for visual and aspirational storytelling, and ability to tell intricate stories with simple design
  • A collaborative, curious working style, along with receptiveness to feedback and direction
  • Effective communication skills—you can clearly articulate your creative decisions and you're comfortable presenting to cross-functional teams and leaders
  • The ability to manage freelancers/contractors, production people and agencies
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates a range of impactful, creative professional work
