We are seeking a full-time Head of Design, working in Mexico City, Latin America’s most vibrant financial and technology hub, to join a global team of senior engineers to deliver market-leading software solutions to solve the most complex of problems: access to quality financial services in developing countries.
We are searching for a design leader who has the capacity to define and develop visual and user experience strategy across its platforms and products. The Head of Design will work alongside the Product team. He or she will also interact regularly with the entire executive leadership team.

Responsibilities
- Own the visual identity of the company, establish a recognizable brand, and ensure consistency across all visual output to communicate the team's value propositions.
- Build and manage the Design process: concept development, design research, create mockups and prototypes, user testing and evaluation.
- Ensure user experience and interface consistency and unity across mobile and web platforms.
- Drive the design discovery roadmap along with research and visual exploration to enhance interface usability and emotional impact.
- Development and execution of the business strategy, planning, and wireframing features drawn from data-driven insights from users and other areas.
- Identifying, prioritizing, and articulating the highest impact initiatives with excellent decision-making skills.
- Work closely with Product to go through testing & validation phases from early prototypes to interfaces ready for release.
- Interact with Product, Technology and management teams to present your work engage and in feedback.
The successful candidate will holistically drive the entire look and feel. As head of design, he or she will touch every aspect of our product and user experience. His or her stimulating drive will lead our effort to build on our playful and engaging product by creating a consistent and uniform visual style that brings our brand to life. While substantial experience driving design is a must, the candidate must be willing to own the area entirely.
