UX Developer – Ypsilanti, Michigan

As such, we’ve continued to invest in ecommerce and in February 2018, started a successful partnership with Whiplash. Over 1.5 million orders fulfilled with their ecommerce platform from our facilities in Chino, California all the way to Secaucus, New Jersey!

Today, we are expanding our Whiplash team! As a leading eCommerce warehouse management system, Whiplash connects online store owners and facility staff around the globe. We believe in transparency, beauty, and developing software products that are a joy to

maintain, use, and support. We are looking to hire a user experienced (UX) focused front end developer* to join our growing Ypsilanti, Michigan based tech team. Essential responsibilities will include design, prototyping, and web development for the Whiplash web application and design system. The ideal candidate has strong design instincts to go along with demonstrated experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to realize responsive interfaces across all major browsers.

Necessary Experience

 You should be comfortable synthesizing requirements into prototypes

 Technical skills needed to translate prototypes into working interfaces

 2-3 years’ experience working with source control in a collaborative development environment

Bonus Points

 Experience with 3rd party APIs

 Experience with Ruby on Rails

 Experience with SCSS
