About the team
The Design team is comprised of several disciplines that work together to help define, create, and deliver all user-facing aspects of the JOIN brand and product.
Product Designers are strategic partners to Engineering and Product Management within a dedicated problem space. In partnership with the product team, they help define experiences our users encounter on JOIN products, then translate that thinking into a complete experience that can be tested, shipped, and refined. They are responsible for creating well-functioning and beautiful products and experiences that users love and are eager to recommend to others.

What you’ll do
Design and maintain components and patterns, as well as create guidelines and documentation to help designers, engineers, product managers, and marketers to understand and use the Design System effectively.
Lead the component build process from idea to execution to landing in our libraries for use across all products.
Work closely with engineers as they build and ship ideas.
Own the success or failure of their design work and initiate design and engineering sprints to improve shipped work.
Influence product direction through collaboration, user research, and storytelling.
Contribute to product growth through experimentation and optimization of existing user journeys.
Develop and expand product design system in collaboration with other designers.
Who you are
Knowledgeable and experienced in creating the Design System in Figma.
Experience designing digital products and systems, not just websites. You have helped ship products.
An appreciation of the entire product development process, from problem-solving through to detailed UI and visual design.
Excellent communicator of design work and your rationale behind proposals.
Excellent self-starter who can deeply collaborate with engineers.
Love working with other designers to help them learn and grow—and have them help you learn and grow.
