Head of Design

The Product Division at ATPCO works with airlines and sales channels to understand their problems and provide creative solutions by evolving ATPCO's product suite. As a leader within the division, the Head of Design will drive the vision and user experience design across product portfolios. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to develop world-class user interfaces that are extensible, simple, and efficient.  

The successful candidate has a proven record of leading teams to deliver breakthrough web-based user interfaces. This is a highly creative position where you will juggle multiple projects at once and use your story-telling expertise to create user-centered design that enhance ATPCO’s product presentation.  

  • Inspire, lead, and develop a cross-functional team to build optimal application user interfaces 
  • Collaborate with team to chart a course for the future and help convey the vision 
  • Work with product teams to conduct research and turn findings into action 
  • Develop a comprehensive corporate design framework, visual language, and standards 
  • Scale a design practice that meaningfully improves the user experience of ATPCO products 

The ideal candidate: 

  • Experience working with large and complex organizations with multiple stakeholders 
  • Deep understand of user-centered design, visual design principles, and related subjects  
  • Loves data-centric products and translating complexity simple solutions  
  • Expert visual storyteller 
  • Bachelor's degree in a design related field or commensurate experience 
  • Extensive agency or design studio experience 
  • Portfolio demonstrating experience designing large enterprise applications 
  • Product marketing experience is a plus
