Senior UX/UI Designer

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to lead an exciting startup project. In this role you will form part of the go-to-market team developing the first product and validating this in market. You will directly shape the direction of this product.

Ideally you will have a track record of success in developing product experiences that delight users. Simplifying the complex to deliver memorable product experiences. Working in partnership with founding team you will oversee business requirements gathering, user research, design, documentation and prototype development. 

Responsibilities:

• User Research - Researching, Learning and understanding about real life problems and requirements of target user group
• Develop and manage user advisory groups
• Document business requirements
• Design product experience in both web app and native mobile app. Including the development of user flows, wireframes and user interface and interaction design
• Develop documentation to support design
• Develop Prototype for user testing
• Develop required assets for handover to engineering team
• Run prototype testing process with user groups and report on feedback

Ideal experience

• 3-5 Years experience UI/UX Design
• Proven experience in taking on complex business challenges and delivering simple designs that delight target user groups.
• A track record of producing beautiful minimal design
• Extensive user research experience - including experience with constructing and working with user advisory groups to support the development of market fit
• Experience across Webb app and native mobile app
• Experience in developing prototypes for market testing
• Fast and can move with speed to support an early stage startup
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in understanding global market for contractors/freelancers(Onsite and remote) and how they get paid. Some sought of experience in global payments and digital wallets would be advantageous.
• Strong documentation skills to support working with a global decentralised workforce
