Design Lead

We are looking for a designer that is ready to take the next step in their career.

Overview:

• The design lead will manage our internal designers (branding, web design, and motion) and work with our clients to carry out branding and web design projects. We are looking for someone that has a great eye for amazing SaaS branding and web design. The design lead is a critical thinker that can understand our clients problems and work closely with our internal designers to come up with solutions through design. This isn’t a design role where you’ll be in Figma all day pushing pixels yourself, rather managing a small team of designers by providing direction and feedback.

Amply's design lead will be in charge of:

• Lead client discussions regarding the visual designs of a project

• Come up with creative ways to tell our client’s story through branding and web design

• Give design direction to branding and web designers that aligns with the client's goals

• Build the information architecture of the site (in collaboration with the client)

• Establish a high-level content flow for each page on a website (in collaboration with the client)

• Provide internal design feedback to our designers

• Propose revised designs to clients with explanations of design thinking

Skills/Must haves:

• Figma

• Critical thinking

• Understanding of great branding design

• Understanding of great SaaS web design

• Laying out high-level content structures of web pages

• Live in the United States

• Fluent English
