UX Design Lead

Catchpoint is looking for a UX Designer to lead a team of User Experience Designers for our SaaS based monitoring and analytics platform. The right candidate is passionate about creating beautiful, easy-to-use, and highly interactive interfaces, and has a proven record of working with users and internal stakeholders to establish and implement an end-to-end design vision.

This important, highly collaborative role is in our Product organization and based at company headquarters in New York City. 


  • Lead the vision and design of easy-to-use, highly interactive products on Catchpoint’s Digital Experience Monitoring platform
  • Manage and mentor 2-4 direct reports while working hands-on with design projects
  • Understand customers and their needs through market analysis, usability research, and customer feedback
  • Design the user interface and interaction flow of services and experiences
  • Develop customer workflows, journey maps, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Facilitate the design process, present and iterate design solutions within an agile development process
  • Craft, pitch, and validate long-term design strategies, focusing beyond aesthetics to the interaction and flows of the UI
  • Continually iterate and evolve the way we design for and learn from our customers



  • 7+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer or similar role
  • An online portfolio that demonstrates the ability to turn ideas into a strong and distinct creative vision
  • An online portfolio or work samples demonstrating a range of artifacts developed in creating user-centered design solutions
  • Bachelor's Degree (Master’s desired) in interactive design, digital design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated fluency in best practices for web-based and mobile information architecture and responsive design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements
  • Direct experience working with agile development teams
  • Strong user experience skill set including strategy, information architecture, and design aesthetic
  • Proven ability in a variety of design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, and prototyping tools (e.g. Invision)
  • Proven ability to work across teams and synthesize feedback and input from product management, engineering, and marketing
  • Excellent communication, presentation and persuasion skills; demonstrated success in building buy-in for an innovative, bold, strategic vision
  • Experience with UX for enterprise software products, preferably with data analytics complexities
  • Experience creating style guides, pattern libraries, and other design solutions that drive design across large organizations
