User Experience Designer (Mid level)

We are seeking highly skilled digital services professionals in User Experience Design, to join an exciting programme of work and, literally, make a difference to people’s lives.

You'll be a talented and resourceful individual who can work closely as part of a team or independently, with the drive, focus and ambition to go that extra mile.

We are seeking people who are skilled, customer focused, enthusiastic and committed. In return, we are committed to providing opportunities for professional development and career progression, and an inspiring and supportive working environment.

Digital Services provide a range of transformational services and capabilities for NICE. The key digital service components include the enterprise search, portal interface/services, semantic/linguistic systems, enterprise content management and the underpinning systems and applications that support these components.

The UX Design role is an exciting role based within our Design and Development team. The team is responsible for the design and development of all NICE multi-channel digital applications and services including NICE web site, NICE Pathways, Evidence Services and a range of internal enabling systems.

The design work incorporates user-facing expertise for technical scoping, user requirements specification and all user experience and usability interactive design functions. High-quality digital services need to be able to adapt quickly to user needs, and this can only happen with close collaboration between different groups. We make sure the project groups in our team:

  • have a shared sense of ownership of the service.
  • have a shared sense of the problem
  • develop a culture of making measurable improvements to how things work

You should be experienced in using a variety of user testing methodologies to reveal actionable customer insights. You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly develop recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative evidence.

You will be confident in explaining user needs to senior NICE staff and for acting as a persuasive advocate for those needs both within the team and the department at large. You will also be comfortable working with data, from gathering and analysis through to design and presentation.

As part of your application, it is essential that you make a link available to an online portfolio of your work.

Interview slots will be available to select for the 11th and 12th of July.
