Product Designer

Welcome Homes is changing the way people buy homes, and we want you to help build Welcome! We are a fast-growing, venture-backed startup building new homes that are purchased online, customized, and delivered in six months at an incredible value.
We are looking for a talented Product Designer to create an innovative, beautiful, and intuitive online experience for our homebuyers. As a digital-first homebuilder, our web experience is critical to our success. We’re looking for a passionate designer that can help us redefine how buyers find and design their dream homes.
What you’ll be doing:
Design and iterate on world-class web experiences to help homebuyers design and build new homes online
Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing Teams to identify customer needs and business opportunities
Collaborate with Development and Product to craft dev-ready solutions to our key customer problems
Use qualitative and quantitative data to improve in the User Experience of our marketing website and user dashboard
Iterate on wireframes, users flows, landing pages to improve the overall web experience
Conduct user research and usability studies to identify problems and validate hypotheses
Bringing fresh and creative ideas to the table as it relates to Welcome Homes’ web and mobile usability and aesthetics.
Produce work fast and efficiently to meet company goals and deadlines
What you’ll need:
A strong portfolio of relevant web and mobile designs (preferably accompanied by a dribbble account)
Proficiency in Sketch and Figma
Proficiency in the Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and working knowledge of InDesign
Experience partnering with Product Managers and Developers to craft and ship a roadmap
Experience conducting user research and/or usability testing
Experience accomplishing multi-team requests
Experience meeting tight deadlines
