Graphic Designer
Skylark (Hunt A Killer), a subscription box platform, has an immediate opening for a talented Graphic Designer for its interactive storytelling subscription membership. Skylark distributes physical packages across the world that tell fictional “True Crime” stories via items, objects, clues, puzzles, and correspondence. We deliver mysteries to doorsteps, and our members investigate in their homes and on the web. Our products are unique, our storytelling is innovative, and we are looking for a designer who can reflect those ideals.
We currently have three distinct brands with two more launching in 2019. Additionally we are building a single platform to consolidate delivery, payment and the member experience across all brands. You will tasked with a variety of creative input across all projects and facets of the business.
In this unique position, you won’t have to wait weeks or months to see your work published. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with short turnaround times where you can see the direct impact of your work in a matter of hours and days and not months.

Required Skills:
- Skilled in Adobe CS Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- A discerning eye for narrative and meticulous attention to detail.
- Use critical thinking to find creative, unorthodox solutions independently or in collaboration with teams.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of design trends.
- Must thrive in high-energy environments that often have short deadlines and shifting priorities.
- An ability to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and meet deadlines.
- Must be open to feedback and be able to take art direction.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills: you will coordinate projects with external contractors
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of UX/UI design are a plus.
- Knowledge of Zeplin and Sketch are a plus.
- Illustration skills are a plus.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field
- At least 2 years of industry experience
