Product Designer

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our growing team headquartered in New York. Your mission is to help build a design vision. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this role will work closely with stakeholders across multiple teams, including other product designers, customer support, developers, and product management.
Primary Objectives:
- Assist in driving our product vision and strategy with creative, analytical, and strategic product thinking
- Be responsible for the entire product design life cycle from ideation to building and shipping, measuring, and learning
- Validate ideas with prototypes
- Architect and design multivariate experiments, study the front-runners, and apply learnings
- Employ design thinking throughout CAIS by focusing on user insight
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as a Product/UI/UX designer
- Bachelor’s degree in digital/industrial design, communication, architecture, or comparable degree
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the UX process and design principles
- Experience in building design guidelines and philosophies
- Experience in shipping products
- Foundational understanding of front-end development as well as established and emerging web technologies
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Resourceful self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude
- High EQ and sense of empathy
- Based in New York tri-state area
