About the position:

VETTA is looking for a full time Graphic Design + Marketing Coordinator ! We prefer for this person to be located in Boston, MA but we are open to a remote employee if it’s the right person. This will be the first full time graphic design/marketing position at our company, and will report directly to the CEO. We’re looking for someone with both creative and analytical abilities, since the position will be a combination of creative design and marketing. Since the CEO has been doing 90% of this work, we need someone who can work with her to understand the vision and then take what she’s built and make it even better. We’re looking for someone whose aesthetic fits our brand, and who is a creative problem solver, more than specific experience with design tools or marketing. We need to be able to trust this person’s creative aesthetic completely, so that they can be empowered to make design decisions on behalf of the company. 


Every day will look different, but a sample day could look like this: 9-11am work on designing new website banners, email marketing assets, and social media posts for an upcoming launch; 11-12 respond to influencer emails and update the tracking spreadsheet, taking photos they’ve sent and assigning them to social media posts; 12-12:30 lunch; 12:30-2:30pm edit product “how-to-wear” videos for the website and social on Adobe Premiere Pro; 2:30-3:30 email brands participating in our upcoming giveaway, ensuring they have all the information they need; 3:30-4pm work on website search engine optimization, placing keywords in image descriptions; 4-5pm search online for locations for our upcoming photo shoot in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities: 

+ Work with CEO to refine brand creative direction and establish vision and guidelines 

+ Design cohesive and on-brand marketing assets for online channels (website, email, social media) 

+ Develop creative assets and content for our capsule launches 

+ Edit photos and videos using Adobe Suite 

+ Design physical packaging and marketing inserts 

+ Produce photo and video shoots 

+ Create and post strategic, on-brand content to Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter 

+ Work with CEO to create facebook/instagram/pinterest ads and track them 

+ Coordinate influencer marketing communication 

+ Design content and coordinate communication for multi-brand giveaways 

+ Coordinate content marketing and SEO for blog 

+ Other general tasks and special projects that arise 


Qualifications: 

+ Digital design experience 

+ An eye for design 

+ A strong portfolio with a similar aesthetic to our brand 

+ Ability to work collaboratively on a team and execute on company vision 

+ Knowledge of relevant tools: Adobe Photoshop (required), Illustrator (required), Premier Pro (optional) 

+ Strong communication and writing skills 

+ Analytical and problem solving skills 

+ Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Arts or related field preferred but not required
