Summary of Position
Our client is looking to bring on a Senior UI Designer/Developer to join our growing team of human-centered designers and developers. This position will actively work to solve existing problems and explore and define entirely new opportunities while working on interdisciplinary teams of researchers, designers, developers and commercialization specialists to bring new solutions to market. Responsibilities
- Drive the creation and growth of market-leading cloud-based software solutions
- Utilize your product development experience to collaborate with the technology and design team to create and launch new technologies
- Execute user-centered design processes while balancing the aesthetics and usability of designs
Required Experience
- Experience executing user-centered design processes
- Experience in the creation and application of design systems
- Expertise in JS framework (React preferred)
- Skilled in UI prototyping software applications (Sketch, Invision, etc.)
- Skilled in areas of user research and analysis, user journey, ideation, sketching, prototyping (Sketch, Invision, etc.), and concept validation
- Start-up experience (preferred)
- Experience working with complex financial transactions and/or business intelligence solutions
- Experience translating design specs to live code
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the design and development of web-based applications
- Degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Computer Science or related field
- Familiar with cloud-based, SaaS-focused modern APIs and front-ends
- A portfolio that demonstrates a strong process and compelling solutions
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Highly organized, detailed and internally motivated
