UI/UX Designer

At ringDNA, we help customers champion the collective power of great conversationalists to deliver outstanding outcomes. We accomplish this by taking on complex challenges that apply design to the creation of new strategies, systems, and products.

It’s a big challenge that takes all types of people from diverse backgrounds and experiences with the shared belief that extraordinary people advance the human experience through design.

Our team is small, extremely nimble and we are known for creating impactful customer experiences. In this role as a UI/UX Designer you will have the unique opportunity to establish design internally, while externally changing the way customers connect, strengthen relationships and achieve success.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate daily across a cross-functional team that includes, leadership, sales, marketing, customer experience, and product
  • Ensure and champion the feasibility of a given design
  • Establish a design system across the entire ringDNA product experience and manage asset libraries for reusable, systematic design
  • Research and analyze industry UX/UI trends and competitor sites and strategies
  • Generate UX/UI explorations and bring those ideas to life from rapid prototyping to pixel-perfect, code-ready visual designs
  • Leverage data from customers and turn those user insights into actionable improvements and optimizations to their overall experience
  • Ensure all versions of project UX/UI documents are complete, current, and stored/archived appropriately
  • Plan and conduct cross-functional product strategy workshops to facilitate ideation, prioritization, and creation of UX related artifacts to help product scoping and delivery planning
  • Support Product Management and facilitate requirements, design, and implementation reviews
  • Work with other project stakeholders to deliver Information Architecture, User Journey Map and Wireframes for new product ideas
  • Work with cross-functional teams to iterate on and polish wireframes into high-fidelity UI for development
  • Planning and participating in ongoing usability testing and assessment

Who You Are

  • At least 2-4 years experience designing digital products and systems, not just websites
  • You’ve played a role in helping ship products either for a digital agency, startup or tech company
  • A portfolio of compelling design work that exhibits client experience and case studies; not just exploratory and personal projects
  • Bachelor's degree in an art or design discipline
  • Strong skills in product design and visual design (brand design is a plus)
  • Proficiency with software tools such as Sketch, Creative Suite, Zeplin, Invision, Figma or other prototyping tools
  • Expert at articulating the value of design through verbal and visual presentation skills
  • Ability to be a systems thinker that loves to solve complex problems through smart interaction design and engaging visual experiences
  • Nice to have: illustration, animation and front-end skills
  • Bonus points: experience in Enterprise SaaS
