Creative Initiatives Content Creator

SCAD seeks a creative initiatives content creator to shoot and edit short-form, social media and series-based lifestyle photography and video in the studio and in the field.

The content creator is primarily responsible for shooting, editing, audio producing, file naming and transferring media. The content creator will develop strategic photography and video marketing concepts to promote the unique environments, lifestyles and opportunities offered at SCAD.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong working knowledge of the latest shooting styles, techniques and equipment, continually seeks out inspiration through research and provides recommendations on how to keep the university’s video content at the level of quality expected from a leader in the art and design community. The candidate should have a strong technical knowledge of video and photographic processing, editing and distribution formats.

The content creator must be available to work outside office hours, on weekends and holidays and must be able to travel domestically and internationally on short notice. As a direct representative of the office of the president, the content creator must exhibit professionalism in both appearance and demeanor at all times.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree

- Relevant experience in content creation for social media and other online platforms
