Sparrow is an app that ties moments in your life to automatic donations. For example, when you go out to eat, Sparrow can add 3% to your bill and automatically donate to a hunger charity. Or when LeBron hits a three-pointer, you can donate to provide malaria bed-nets. When Arya Stark kills someone in Game of Thrones, give to women’s empowerment. Sparrow builds personalized funds of trustworthy charities and tracks your impact so you understand how your donation is making a difference.
Over the last few months, we've built and tested our private beta (try it out on iPhone or Android). We're learning a lot about our users and are ready to improve the UX with an experienced professional. To that end, we're contracting a UX-focused designer for a month or so (potentially more later). We’re particularly interested in someone who has experience designing iOS apps and focuses on user experience, interaction design, and product. (It’s a plus if you already have experience with other FinTech apps or dashboard/tracking apps).
We're a small team of 3 founders - during this time, you’ll work with the founders defining, designing, and iterating on product features. We’re focused on a series of questions around user experience and information architecture with the goal of finding product-market fit. In weekly sprints, we gather feedback from users (surveys, in-app behavior, interviews) and improve the app. Please include links to your work (e.g., portfolio, resume, LinkedIn) in your application.Posted 15 days ago Apply Now
