Package Designer

Package Designer wanted for Seasonal, Home Decor and Arts and Crafts products for distribution through U.S. Mass Merchants. This is a work remotely position. U.S. candidates only.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works closely with Team Leaders to meet project objectives in conceptualization and development of graphics, illustrations and layouts
Creates designs with strong artistic sensibilities that satisfy a diverse array of projects
Complete all design assignments according to the needs of the customer while meeting the technical requirements of production
Meets all deadlines while juggling multiple projects
Seeks and maintains excellent working relationships in the department
Maintains current knowledge of design trends
Solves problems proactively with patience and intelligence
Contributes to team effort by fulfilling responsibilities with a positive attitude

Job Description - Requirements

Ability to self-start and work under minimal supervision
Strong design skills
Must be proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop
Knowledge of current market trends and customer behavior
Excellent attention to detail
Strong time-management skills
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
Ability to work alone or with a team
Ability to accept and apply critique and feedback
Strong written and verbal communication skills
