UX designer for complex web apps

Looking for a UX/UI Designer in the Raleigh/Durham area for help on various complex web app interfaces. One is a pharma software company that helps pharmaceutical companies bring drugs to market. Their software helps with cost estimation and "tech transfer" which is essentially handing off a "recipe" for a drug from a drug company to a manufacturer. The task is designing their tech transfer feature, then eventually overhauling the entire ui/ux.

Another project is for an insurance risk assessment provider. They have a ton of customers, very few competitors, but haven't updated their UI in over a decade.

Looking for someone with great communication and collaboration, smart, functional designs that get results. Making stuff look nice is always secondary to making frictionless UX that drives results. Results are ultimately what matter to customers.

We need someone who is somewhat entrepreneurial. It's a small company so you'll be wearing a few hats, talking directly with customers, helping us come up with unique marketing ideas, and more. Pay range is $60,000 – $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
