Graphic Designer/Senior Graphic Designer

The Communications Department of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is looking for a Graphic Designer/Senior Graphic Designer to help bring its brand to life by executing creative communication collaterals on various media such as print, web, social and video. The designer will work with a pool of external production experts (writers, editors, graphic artists, photographers, videographers, agencies) and in-house production resources while ensuring that the production of collaterals is well-coordinated (from pre- to postproduction), on budget and on schedule.


Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, propose and execute creative graphic designs that embody AIIB’s brand for campaigns, advertisements, special events, banners, brochures, posters and other marketing collaterals, as needed.
  • Liaise and coordinate with outsourced vendors, agencies and other external production resources for all creative activities to ensure optimal output of finalized materials.
  • Create digital media assets for AIIB’s website and social channels to support AIIB’s communications objectives. Ability to produce animated GIFs would be an asset.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver creative executions that will meet their needs.
  • Assure the quality of final artwork (FA) based on AIIB’s brand guidelines.
  • Assist in managing the Communications Department’s Content Production Pool.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of direct experience for Designer level (minimum 8-10 years for Senior Designer level) in the production of various content for various media such as print, web, social and video. Art direction experience would be an asset.
  • Expert level skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and other software in the Adobe suite.
  • Ability to do basic video editing to stitch or trim footage.
  • Adept in both digital and print design.
  • Advanced knowledge of visual compositions to communicate ideas through typography, imagery, color and form.
  • Positive and constructive attitude; adapts to change.
  • High level of integrity, trustworthiness and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills related to the projects and tasks at hand.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Master's degree in arts or other creative courses, or a university degree supplemented by certificates in creative and visual arts from reputable educational institutions.
