Product Designer (UI/UX)

We are a startup located in beautiful Scottsdale, AZ, with a tremendous opportunity ahead. The engineering, product, and design team are committed to creating the best user experiences in transportation. We leverage Sketch, Photoshop, and Invision to manage and maintain a design system that are leveraged throughout our web application.
We are seeking an experienced and talented Product Designer designer to work with the various groups in our company to create clean, intuitive, and functional mockups. The ideal candidate is self-motivating and has a passion for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Work with our Lead Product Designer to improve existing workflows in the application and help deliver new features
- Work with the development team to improve the design process and drive parody between the code and the mockups
- Work with our Lead UI/UX Designer to maintain a design system
- Work with product managers to understand functional and workflow decisions
- Take feedback from stakeholders to refine designs
Required skills and experience
- 3+ years of UI/UX experience on mobile or web applications.
- Experience working with Sketch/Photoshop (Primarily Sketch)
- Strong communication stills
- Excellent design skills
Desired skills and experience
- Experience designing with Google’s Material Design Patterns
- Experience working with Invision
- Experience building and maintaining design systems within Sketch
- Experience working with CSS/HTML/JS
