UI Designer
At Topaz Labs we distill machine learning and other cutting-edge technology into useful photography software. We're looking for our first dedicated design hire to help us define the visual experience of our website and products that thousands of photographers use every day. This is a pivotal role in our company: you'll both own the visual experience of the Topaz Labs website and help us build simple and delightful desktop products.
As our first design hire, you will have autonomy to try new things that will benefit the company. You will have a large immediate impact and there is huge growth potential for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Own the visual experience of the Topaz Labs website
- Work cross-functionally to improve the experience of our photography desktop products
- Prototype/design user interfaces for both web and desktop product
- Implement your designs in HTML / CSS
Requirements
- You have an excellent visual design aesthetic (please send us your portfolio)
- You have deep user empathy and demonstrated proficiency in UX
- You are proficient in HTML / CSS
- Preferred: JS + PHP experience
- Preferred: photography experience
