Senior Product Designer

We are: Shogun, a powerful page builder platform for eCommerce stores. We were in the Winter 2018 batch of Y-Combinator, we’re backed by Initialized Capital, and we have over 6,000 active paying clients.

We are looking for: A Senior Product Designer to join our team and help drive the design of our product.

We need someone that is comfortable being hands on with the entire design process, from user research to visual design. You will work closely with our Director of Design on conceptualizing and implementing changes to our product that will drive an increase in trial conversion, and customer success.

You must:

• Have experience in big-picture design thinking, such as creating and maintaining design systems 
• Be comfortable running user research and testing to identify usability issues, then follow through with solutions to fix them 
• Have sharp, pixel-perfect visual skills and experience in the latest design software 
• Have a super high standard of quality 
• Know how to analyze complex user flows and distill them into easy to use experiences 
• Have strong wireframing / prototyping skills 
• Be comfortable looking at data and interpreting results 
• Have at least a few years of experience with design-oriented tech companies 
• Have real-world references and design examples
