Full Stack Designer

We love well-done, polished products able to conquer the heart of millions through smooth UXs and catchy UIs. This intersection between excellent coding and gorgeous design is the sweet spot giving us edge in business, which is why we’re looking forward to expanding the team with a talented Full Stack Designer able to create, design, and code stunning web pages to showcase our products.

A few examples of your responsibilities:

  • Take an active stance collaborating with our Product Lead to help defining the best concept for our products’ web pages and in-app static material. We commend taking a proactive role on, and ownership of, the products you work on.
  • Be a fundamental part in the products' success taking full ownership of your work. From concept to design to coding glitches away, you'll be given full trust to create extraordinary solutions.
  • Design stunning UIs and beautiful paywalls to gift our users an enthralling experience.
  • The work spans from creating stunning, polished design to coding responsive web pages with the users’ in mind, take full advantage of both sides and optimize your designs as bringing them to life reveals unexpected potentialities.
  • Stay informed on new design trends and test the promising ones to make sure our choices are never outdated.

What we look for

  • Passion. You love design, enjoy staying up to date with innovations in the field, and appreciate the possibility of bringing your ideas to life through code.
  • UI development. You’re proficient in HTML and CSS, and know how to leverage their potential to create responsive design. Experience with React Native or Javascript are not required but a big plus.
  • A portfolio to show off. You have a nice, quality portfolio of original work, with at least one example of web UI. As long as your work is well-polished and tidily organized, it doesn’t matter in which field you gained most of your experience.
  • Pragmatism. You know how to design with your audience in mind, using a data-based approach to deliver solid, practical solutions.
  • Humility. You’re eager to help and not at all picky on what tasks you’re asked to take on. You’re open to feedback and truly value others’ opinions.
  • Drive. You’re diligent, energetic, and tirelessly persevere through adversity until the job is done, and done perfectly.
  • Efficiency. You use your time wisely and can get stuff done at a good pace.
  • Conversational English. You read and write well and can hold a relatively fluent conversation in English, even if the topic is somewhat complex or technical.
  • Ideally, some relevant experience. You’ve got at least one web UI design project under your belt and some experience prototyping and coding frontend. Experience with iterative design will be positively evaluated.

Location

Milan, Corso Como 15. It’s fine if you prefer to work remotely sometimes. We offer substantial support for relocation, including finding an apartment in Milan and paying the rent for twelve weeks.
