Location: San Francisco preferred, willing to consider other US locations

What You’ll Be Doing: We need your help in building simple and elegant tools to help couples gain insight into their money.  While this is a short-term project, there’s potential for a full-time role:

  • Build out Zeta’s brand identity and translate that identity into our web and mobile applications
  • Lead our UX/UI efforts based on user engagement and feedback
  • Participate/drive research including conducting usability tests and/or user interviews
  • Work in an agile environment with our product manager, engineers and other team members

Who We’re Looking For: We’re looking for an amazing designer to bring their expertise to our product build out.

  • Education in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience turning complex problems into simple and engaging customer experiences for the web including familiarity with technical constraints for such platforms
  • Demonstrated comfort with an iterative design process that includes accepting and acting on feedback and constructive criticism
  • Experience working in an early-stage startup environment (or at least on new product development projects)
  • Proficient with industry standard design tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InVision)
  • We care less about the years of experience you have and more about the quality of your designs and your work ethic
  • Having previously worked at (or with) a financial services product is preferred
