Motion Graphics Designer

From stylish motion graphics to comprehensive live-action shoots, LAI Video delivers powerful digital solutions for a variety of organizations in Washington, DC.
LAI Video is looking for a Motion Graphics Designer to join its family. From sophisticated animated pieces to adding some extra flare to our live-action narratives, he or she will provide a variety of refreshing video solutions that help clients tell their story. The Motion Graphics Designer will also draft storyboards for complex shoots, create style guides for new projects and add an overall design "eye" to everything LAI Video touches.
Duties:
- Produce videos using original motion graphics, composite animation and editing
- Design and create various graphic content to be used in print-materials or video
- Develop and create presentation visuals for external and internal clientele
- Work closely with the Video Editors, Project Managers, Creative Director, and Executive Management
- Follow established LAI Video production and time-tracking processes
- Research and help implement new ways to keep LAI Video progressive and efficient
- Provide general administrative support as needed
- Travel for on-location editing and event needs
Experience:
- After Effects
- Premiere Pro
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Sound Design
- Keynote/PowerPoint
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Video, Film Production, Media, or equivalent work experience
- At least 3-5 years work experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines
- Organized and detailed-oriented
- Punctual and an overall team player
