UI / UX Designer

Mediavine, a fast-growing, full-service advertising management company representing over 3700 websites in the food, lifestyle, and entertainment space, is searching for a full-time UI/UX Designer

Duties:

• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to ideate and design experiences for our Publishers, Readers, Partners and Internal Teams
• Facilitate product vision through research, usability testing, sketches, wireframes, prototyping and user-experience research.
• Work with developers to bring designs and experiences to life
• Find elegant solutions to display and manipulate complex data patterns
• Serve as an advocate for the end user and ensure everything shipped is intuitive
• Collect feedback and iterate on new and existing experiences

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ Years of professional design experience
• Extensive experience in using UX best practices to create design solutions
• Deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
• Familiarity with modern design trends
• Willing to collaborate closely with engineering team
• Experience with usability testing and user research
• Experience with design and prototyping tools (Photoshop, Sketch, InVision, FramerX, etc)
• Willingness to utilize and learn new tools
• Native-level proficiency with the English language
• Creative problem solving skills
• Understand the advantages and limitations of web templates and languages
• An understanding of UI state

Bonus Points for:

• Experience working with Agile frameworks
• Portfolio pieces reflecting experience with organizing complex information in clear and concise ways
• Experience working with component-based design systems
• Experience implementing designs in HTML and CSS
