UX/UI Designer

ABOUT YOU

- Bachelor's or Master's in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, Service Design or a closely related field.

- 3-5+ years working in a fast-paced design studio environment. With 3+ years as UX/UI designer.

- Primary focus on designing digital products (IxD/UX/UI) with user-centered research methodologies.

- Thorough understanding of the design thinking methodology.

- Love for collaboration with a readiness to work with a diverse group of people, including proactively spearheading new challenges.

- Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly.

- Curious and open to learning new tools and processes.

- Organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter in a demanding environment.

- Passionate about maintaining very high standards for design and constantly striving to exceed expectations.

- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.

- Positive attitude!


ABOUT THE ROLE

- Actively collaborating on projects with our team and clients starting with helping define the brief all the way through the final project delivery.

- Participate and contribute to workshops with clients.


CORE SKILLS REQUIRED

- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Interface design tools (Sketch, Adobe Xd, or similar), Prototyping tools (InVision, Flinto, Framer, or similar).

- Develop sound UX concepts including: the definition of user needs, task analysis, the creation of personas, storyboards, use case scenarios, and user flows.

- Ability to define and layout information architecture.

- Familiarity with user testing / validation best practices (one-on-one interviews, A/B testing, etc.)

- Ability to design final visual layouts, front-end interactions, and animations for interfaces with a focus on detail and aesthetic taste.

- Able to create presentations for clients that communicate effectively.

- Project management skills.

- Partner with development teams to bring projects to life using the 

- Lean/Agile/Scrum methodology.


BONUS

- Drawing or illustration skills

- Coding experience for mobile (iOS / Android) or web.

- Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or other basic electronics.

- Good understanding of design & business strategy to align with client expectations and goals.

- Desire to be part of the team both professionally and socially such as grabbing a morning coffee, eating lunch with the team, and offsites!
