Design Director, Marketing

Lightspeed Systems, a K-12 software company, is looking for an experienced, passionate, creative, and dedicated designer to join our marketing team as a Creative Design Director.


In this role, you’ll join an experienced and collaborative marketing team to shape the brand and develop a consistent visual storyline throughout the company, including but not limited to:

  • Website/Webpage designs
  • Illustrations/iconography
  • Email and landing page graphics and ad campaigns
  • Print design/layout (1-sheets, brochures, postcards, white papers, etc.)
  • Swag
  • Tradeshow booths
  • Decks
  • Infographics
  • Animated explainer videos
  • Testimonial videos

  • Experience working in a deadline-driven atmosphere.
  • Compelling record of managing digital marketing strategies and leveraging campaigns to deliver outstanding revenue growth or a strong background as a business owner/operator.
  • A firm belief that design is all about selling.
  • Is able to deliver quality creative under all circumstances, whether you have 5 months, 5 days, or 5 hours to accomplish the goal.
  • Preferably someone with experience with working for a SAAS company.
  • A compelling and unique point of view in your work.

Role Requirements

  • 4+ years’ work experience as a designer
  • Digital marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, related discipline, or proven related experience
  • A portfolio showcasing your design, process, and your proficiency in delivering compelling creative product
