UI Artist

You will join a fast-growing, dynamic games studio to work on cutting edge technology and exciting new games for PS4 and PS5, Xbox One and Series X and PC. You will take ownership and responsibility for developing features, work with the wider team on planning and delivery and share a passion for games. Although we pride ourselves on our technical excellence, we are a creative bunch, actively generating ideas and bringing our collective skills, experiences, and storytelling to our innovative creative process.

Responsibilities:

• Help Design, create and implement game User Interfaces using proprietary and middleware UI tools
• Organise, create and maintain game-ready assets for use in user interfaces, such as logos, icons, fonts and backgrounds
• Collaborate with Art and Design direction to bring objects from concept to a final polished state
• Co-ordinate with design to achieve desired User Experience
• Communicate with programming team to ensure desired functionality and visual fidelity

Requirements:

• A portfolio demonstrating graphic design and UI work
• Excellent graphic design skills in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
• Experience creating user interfaces from concept to prototype to final game ready assets
• Experience with screen layout and wire-framing
• Strong pre-visualisation and implementation skills
• Excellent use of typography, composition, and colour theory
• Good understanding of UX design for console and PC
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with Art, Design and Code
• The Ability to adapt to different graphic styles
• Experience with UI work within game engines

Nice to have:

• Experience with 2D Animation and motion graphics
• Experience with other Adobe products
