Product Designer

As our second designer, you will be working alongside product, engineering, business development, marketing, and support to craft delightful experiences that make the airport a memorable chapter of our customer’s experience.

LoungeBuddy now powers millions of visits - your work will be incredibly impactful as we look towards our next stage of growth as a team.

As a Product Designer at LoungeBuddy, you will be working across all of our products, including LoungeBuddy.com, LoungeBuddy for iPhone, LoungeBoss (our proprietary lounge check-in experience), and the LoungeBuddy Partner Portal (a web portal for partners to manage their lounge locations). In addition to working on our primary products, you will be assisting with promotional, onboarding, and marketing materials.

What will you be doing?

Play a key role in the visual design of new features launching across all of our products.
Ensure consistency across our web and mobile products, by helping to build and refine our design system.
Help finalize designs and hand-off assets to engineers.
Collaborate extensively with Engineering to ensure designs and interactions are realized accurately by testing and providing feedback on the final product.
Perform market research to evaluate your solutions and discover new use cases.

Top applicants will have…

An outstanding portfolio, showcasing a foundation in typography, interaction and visual design, and ideation.
Solid design background in fundamentals with a deep understanding of composition, balance, symmetry, and white space.
Demonstrable proficiency with design tools, including Sketch.
Solid analytical, creative, and visual thinker with excellent communication skills.
Thrive in an environment with short feedback loops.
Eye for a good experience and what “works,” and can both work within and expand the LoungeBuddy style.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical work experience in Design.
