Senior UX Designer for App and Web
Our young team at Gothaer Digital GmbH is looking for creative new colleagues. We are the digital subsidiary of the almost 200-year-old Gothaer insurance company from Cologne. For our office away from dusty “The office atmosphere” at the InsurLab in Cologne Mühlheim, we are looking for team-oriented creative minds with an entrepreneurial spirit who can independently carry out projects and can also communicate openly and clearly with external groups (such as development teams, clients and other stakeholders). Our company is currently being established and you, as one of the first employees, can make a big impact on the shape and path of our digital unit.
If your profile looks something like this:
- At least 3 year’s experience in web and app portal design in an agency or startup
- Experience in providing design concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, prototypes etc.
- Experience with A / B and multivariate tests
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Dealing with Sketch, Invision and Adobe Suite in your sleep
- A keen sense for typography, photography, colors and distances
and you would enjoy to do this tasks on a daily basis:
- Identificate and implement customer needs and problems along the customer journey
- Record and evaluate customer requirements in cooperation with product managers, insurance experts and developers
- Illustrate design ideas with storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that show how websites and apps work and look.
- Create graphic designs (e.g. pictures, sketches and tables).
- Prepare and present drafts for colleagues and stakeholders.
- have user experience always as the number one requirement
