UI/UX Designer

A designer at GoCo does more than just build pretty mockups. You will be the product owner. You'll need to help us figure out what we should build and how we should build it. And you'll probably make mistakes along the way. But that's OK. We're all about learning quick.

The ideal GoCo UX Designer would demonstrate these 3 main traits:

1) Amazing Design & Product Sense: You need to take complicated concepts and make them intuitive. You'll need to make benefits, HR, and compliance fun.

2) Excellent communicator: You'll need to be a great listener so you can understand users' problems. And once you understand those problems, you'll need to convey your proposed solutions in slide decks, mockups, whiteboarding sessions, or just sitting down and talking with devs, design, and execs. We're an opinionated bunch so expect some healthy debates!

3) Bias for action: You need to get stuff done!

Any experience with HR or insurance is a big plus.
