Graphic Designer

Overview

Learfield Licensing Partners is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Brand Marketing team, which supports the marketing of licensed products for over 600 colleges and universities. As a designer on the team, you’ll have the opportunity to play a crucial role in the conception, design and execution of marketing collateral for on-campus, in-game and at retail throughout the country. During which time you’ll be part of a small, talented team with big responsibilities and impact on the collegiate market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, not emulate, high-level creative concepts for digital and print based projects; help to refine and further develop these concepts into complete, functional design systems
  • Manage, prioritize, and lead the creation and process of design requests from our licensees, retailers and brand management teams
  • Work as part of a team in the development of custom & unique creative executions for collegiate brands
  • Support the brand and other positions on design projects related to apparel and product design, logo creation, client communications, social media graphic, in-store/experiential pieces, on-campus materials, and all other mediums and collateral
  • Manage, prioritize, and execute multiple projects at once under very tight deadlines
  • Participate in creative briefings and reviews-- be able to justify the reasons & concepts behind your designs
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Learfield Licensing’s school brands and how to convey its voice, tone and personality visually across mediums

Qualifications

  • A degree in design or completion/certification from a specialized design school and 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in all industry-standard design applications (Adobe CC: Ps, Ai, Id, Pr, Ae) on a PC platform
  • An extraordinary attention to detail & the ability to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Strong communication and organizational skills – must be a team player/willing to collaborate with others!
  • Must have strong design, layout and typography skills, digital media, branding
  • Strong technical, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to accept constructive criticism and leverage it for professional growth
  • Passionate about collegiate brands, products and apparel
