UI/UX Designer (mid-weight)

The Role

We are looking for a talented Designer to create user interfaces and design systems. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean design and the ability to translate high-level requirements into functional designs. We value designers who are proactive with a real passion for user centric design.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Has proven user interface and web design experience with strong typographic skills
• Has a strong, diverse portfolio containing at least 5 examples relevant to this role and is able to clearly explain their role and responsibilities pertaining to these projects
• Can effectively communicate ideas with low fidelity sketches
• Has a good understanding of current UX best practices Takes ownership of tasks and has great pride in their work
• Solicits regular feedback from others and is eager to find ways to improve
• Skilled in industry standard design applications (Adobe CS, Sketch etc.)

 Responsibilities:

Collaborate with other Designers, UX Architects, Product Managers, Engineering and key stakeholders to define and implement solutions to complex design problems

• Create engaging web layouts inline with supplied brand guidelines
• Design interface elements like navigation menus, webforms interactive elements and widgets
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
• Present designs and key deliverables to peers and other stakeholders
• Establish and promote design guidelines and best practices
• Identify, communicate and act on opportunities for improving sites you are working on
• Provide accurate estimates for tasks you own
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• Work effectively within our Agile environment
