JD: Sr. Visual Designer

Description

You’re excited to dive into sketching and storyboarding as much as designing interactions, building visual design systems, and prototyping digital experiences.

Work with a team of product designers to create visual patterns to ensure a consistent, intuitive experience.

We are looking for a Visual Designers to join our innovative team.

As a Visual Designer, you will serve as an expert when it comes best practices for visual design, typography, iconography, graphic design, animation and layout.

You will use your skill set to produce elegantly simple and engaging designs that meets measurable business goals and requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background of guiding creative design efforts, while also staying connected to the details and being able to deliver results on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities :

Craft beautiful experiences that visually presents the user interface so information is easy to read, understand and find.
Partner with Program Management to understand the users and domain.
Prototype and test your designs.
Develop iconography that is intuitive across multiple view points.
Partner with UI team to ensure your pixel-perfect designs are feasible.
Communicate effectively in a cross-functional product development team.
Enterprise software product background is preferred, with specific experience in the storage domain a plus.

Qualifications :

An excellent on-line portfolio showcasing visual design work for web and touch applications.
8+ years experience crafting extraordinary user interface designs in web and mobile
Ability to function independently and in a team environment across geographies.
Ability to communicate design concepts through sketches and wireframes.
Experience with the latest in web and mobile application design trends.
A proven track record working on Enterprise products. Consumer application design a plus.
Craft beautiful experiences that visually presents the user interface so information is easy to read, understand and find.
Ability to grasp & distill highly complex concepts / domains.
Understanding of best practices including accessibility standards and human factors.
BA/BS degree in Design (ex: interaction, graphic, visual communications, industrial) or equivalent practical experience
