UI / UX Designer
Are you our new UI/UX Designer in the Global Digital Team?
YouGov’s ambition is to become a unique part of the global internet infrastructure - like Google for search, Facebook for social, Amazon for retail, we want it to be YouGov for data and trends. The world is now awash with data, in greater volumes than ever before. But much of it is too unstructured and messy to be of much value. At YouGov our aim is to build the biggest connected, structured dataset in the world.
YouGov is an industry leader in connected data services and insight-driven data solutions and your role will play a crucial part working alongside the Lead Designer in designing UI and UX for YouGov Online products including our websites, apps, client interfaces and much more. You would contribute your ideas through all phases, from idea & strategy through design, deployment and operations, while working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
What will I be doing?
As part of our Digital Design team you will be involved in the UI and UX design of YouGov’s suite of digital products, with a specific focus on our SaaS solutions and public website.
On a day to day basis you will be working alongside the other members of the design team and nurturing YouGov’s new digital design guidelines. You will own one or multiple products and alongside product owners, you will drive the definition of product features and build them into frictionless user experiences.
You’ll be designing clear and engaging user experiences for our customer-facing platforms and soon to be released new public website. You can expect to be designing data-centric digital interfaces needing strong information hierarchy.
What do I need to bring with me?
As you’d expect, we are looking for an exceptional designer – how much experience you have is of secondary importance to this role. We value talent and passion above all else.
Your interest in pushing the boundaries of user interaction for opinion data products will be highly visible along with your passion for designing simple yet highly engaging user interfaces.
