Head of Design

ZALO is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Design to lead and manage designers and product researchers of all product teams under ZALO.

This is Head of Design position that will play a pivotal role in developing products and features to serve multi millions of users in South East Asia.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Take charge, explore the trends and new ideas to constantly re-imagine product designs and create ground-breaking strategic improvement to the product designs.
• Lead the design process for all products under ZALO. Make design become a driving force in how we approach product development at ZALO. 
• Scale the user-centric design discipline across all design teams and play the role of a collaborative glue between design team, product management, product marketing and engineering team. 
• Recruit new designers and actively participate in hire, train and evaluate team members and bring the whole team to the next level of greatness.
• Be both a creative inspiration for design teams and a hands-on-coach who teach them soft and hard skills. 

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• You want to create change and help our products to achieve more explosive growth.
• You must have at least 3 – 5 years design UI Mobile experience & at least 1 years of management experience.
• You have held a senior design role at internet/mobile tech companies, where you established a history of groundbreaking design work.
• You have demonstrated ability to plan and conduct design research in collaboration with different team including user research, data analysis, engineering, marketing and product management.
• You are known for building, managing and training awesome design teams.
