UX Manager

The User Experience Manager at Teleflora leads the front-end production team and owns the UI/UX experience on Teleflora.com. This person is responsible for driving new website features and functionality that will increase conversion and improve customer experience. In support of those goals, this role oversees the following areas: VOC, Competitive Analysis, and Multi-variate Testing.

The User Experience Manager needs to have good communication skills and be a team player. They need to have strong visual communication skills to be able to effectively integrate features and design plans to that will improve the customer experience. Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork are critical to this role as you will be collaborating closely with developers, marketers, and designers. We're looking for someone who loves diving deep into the details and into the data to find bog and small opportunities to reduce friction and create a better customer experience from beginning to end. You'll need to be a self-starter with good time management skills and the leadership skills needed to motivate staff to work efficiently. Basic front end programming knowledge is required in order to understand the technical aspects of the designs and what's involved in integrating those technical components on our websites and apps.

A Day In The Life at Teleflora:

  • Improve our UI/UX: Analyze our user experience to identify opportunities to increase conversion and improve overall customer experience. Propose relevant tests/improvements and drive a strategy of continual improvement.
  • Analyze Data to Identify Opportunities: Use Behavioral and Transactional Data to drive UI/UX strategy. Use Session replay tools to understand customer behavior and make recommendations for test and new functionality.
  • Drive our MV Testing Strategy: Develop and Manage multi-variate testing strategy and drive reporting, recommendations, and improvements on our websites
  • Monitor the Voice of Customer & Customer Reviews: Own VOC and Customer Feedback solutions, analyze customer engagement, and recommend UI/UX, product, and other features
  • Collaborate to Improve Customer Service: Work with Customer Service to monitor customer feedback and develop solutions and tests to improve the customer experience.
  • Lead Competitive Analysis: Perform regular competitor/marketplace analysis to identify trends, competitive differentiators and to develop ideas to test and improve our UI/UX.
  • Manage Front-End Development Team: Own Prototyping, Marketing Support, and Front-End Production Changes as you manage our team of four Front-End Developers/Web Producers.
  • Support Marketing Team: Be an expert resource to the marketing teams by providing UI/UX recommendations, content update, and support during key holiday periods.

Your Contribution to Teleflora:

  • 5+ years relevant online UI/UX management experience, experience working with (or leading) front-end developers, and experience in basic html, css, js.
  • Passion for e-commence innovation and continual improvement of the customer experience.
  • Possess an advanced knowledge of web and mobile UX/UI; adhere to and extrapolate complex design systems and apply to coded pages, screens, and states.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong visual communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with some project management experience. Keep track of multiple projects and progress of others on team. Creates action plans to finish projects on time and on budget.
  • Possess critical thinking, analytical, and creative talent to develop a concept, idea, fact or content into a strong visual presentation that maximizes communications / sales effectiveness.
  • Problem solving and follow-through.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product management / segment management, Web producers / developers / architects.
  • Ability to interact with senior management.
