Digital Designer

About Us: 

  • DEEPS is a pre-launch D2C startup company launching in March 2022
  • DEEPS seeks to disrupt the wellness category, starting with sleep, via innovative consumer products


Opening:

  • We have an immediate opening for a freelance part-time digital designer (20h/week over the next two months)
  • Based on fit, this position would ideally convert into a full-time position after launch
  • EST and CT time zone preferred
  • Required to be based in the U.S.


Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with our creative director, as well as with the other team members (co-founders are Harvard and NYU MBAs, and the marketing team  is composed of former heads of digital marketing at Glossier, and head of social media at Warby Parker)
  • Create/manage/slice digital assets (social, email, paid ads such as Facebook, etc.), both according to a brief and willing to contribute toward brainstorming concepts for those platforms
  • Ideally some lightweight experience with video editing for the purpose of paid ads would be great
  • Some experience doing design for consumer wellness products is great, but not required


Skills and Experience: 

  • Strong fundamentals in graphic design and proficiency in relevant design tools
  • Strong prior experience creating digital content (paid ads, social, etc.)
  • Ability to operate and execute efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented, but also able to be creative and work independently as needed
  • Have a strong portfolio of work - willing to share upon request
