About Our Engineering Team
We build primarily in Python and React, but we value identifying the right tool for the job. We believe in fast feedback cycles, pragmatic code, continuous deployment, and getting feedback as quickly as we can. Our team is highly collaborative and empowered to pursue new ideas to improve our software. We rely on our ability to work as a team and incorporate different perspectives in order to ship meaningful and impactful software to our users.
About The Role
This is a full-time position reporting to the Head of Engineering. We are open to remote hires, with preference for candidates located in Chicago, IL.

Education and Experience an equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
- 2+ years of professional experience with web technologies and applicable databases. (We mainly use Flask, Typescript, and Postgres.)
- Solid understanding of your chosen languages and frameworks, but curiosity and ability to ramp up on new technologies quickly when needed.
- Experience with testing and a desire to constantly learn and improve.
- Strong communication skills and the desire to collaborate across departments and with end users.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, CircleCI, Github Actions - huge pluses.
