Senior Product Designer

We’re looking for user-centric Senior Product Designers who are excited about the opportunity to help us take CAD to the 21st century. You would be working on further developing the experience Shapr3D users love, and changing how professionals work and create in 3D.

This is a high-impact role with the power to affect our growth initiatives by introducing new features, platforms, and offerings, improving/rethinking user flows on the top of the modeling experience. If you can insightfully interpret big data, run competitive analyses, apply design patterns, and more to define and tackle complex problems, we’d love to hear from you.

Within the organization:

You’ll report to the Head of Design within the Product team and work within a cross-functional team of Product, Research, Data, and Engineering. Plus, you will be part of a strong Design community of practice.

What will you do?

Collaborate closely with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to define and solve complex problems in an agile environment
Put Shapr3D users first. Let their needs guide us to the best solutions and inform product specifications.
Collaboratively collect and analyze big data, competitive analyses, design patterns, and more to support our feature roadmap
Work closely with your team and other designers in defining, designing, and iterating on product features that deliver innovative modeling experiences to our users at every stage of their creative process
Translate vision and big ideas into a shippable product
Create well-defined documentation and design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches
Take initiative in identifying problems and act on opportunities to improve the product offering

In an ideal world, you…

Have minimum 5 years of industry experience in product design – having a portfolio that you could share with us as part of your application is a plus
Possess strong visual design, UX, and strategic problem-solving skills
Can define problems and goals, map user flows, prototype interactions, and manage the product building process
Apply a deep understanding of customer problems to create elegant but practical solutions
Use data and user research to make design decisions
Work well in a fast-paced environment
Have a passion for learning more about 3D modeling – with a big plus for practical experience
