About the role
As a Web Designer you will be a vital and inspiring member of the brand design team; brainstorming, sprinting, collaborating and working closely with growth and marketing teams as well as product managers and developers, to solve problems and build meaningful and effective digital experiences that express in the most coherent way the key brand elements and guidelines that build the visual identity of Sofía with courage and creativity.
You will take ownership of the design, development, and implementation (in collaboration with other designers and engineers) of Sofía’s website and other product designs, working hand in hand with the Brand Design team to craft an exceptional UI/UX that reflects our brand principles and vision.
You will be able to share your own vision and knowledge in web design to help build a design system that is practical with functional assets and become a bridge of communication to keep visual consistency in both product and web. You will see your ideas come to life!
What you'll do
- Maintain and scale our website, keep it updated with the new product features as well as the marketing and brand objectives
- Iterate the user flow to improve the conversion rate
- Build high quality experiences
- Design assets from initial concept (mockups, prototypes, flows, wireframes ) to final implementation (web-optimized assets)
- Collaborate with the copy writers to update content in the website
- Collaborate with brand designers and product designers in the definition of new design systems and creation of assets
- Help build the design system for the website
- Contribute with digital ideas that can add value to our brand and paid campaigns
- Support (when required) the product design team
- Help us keep organization of files and a structured asset library

- You are able to bounce ideas and find a solution to problems by yourself but is eager to bounce them with others, we go further together
- You are able to build, maintain and scale a website
- Have knowledge in UI/UX design
- Proficiency in Figma (XD, Sketch)
- Understanding of design systems
- Visual design
- Webflow or other web design builders is a plus, if you don't know it you can learn it with us!
- Basic knowledge in HTML and CSS
- Atomic design methodology mindset (desirable)
- 4+ years working in-house for a brand/company or in a studio/agency creating and designing successful digital products
