Brand & Web Designer

iBec Creative is hiring an experienced designer who’s ready to bring their extensive branding & web design know-how to our growing team.

Our ideal candidate will be well versed in brand, web & print design. You will collaborate with our clients and our other designers to bring their ideas into the real world. Whether it’s designing a brand from the ground up, making design updates to an existing website, or designing ads for a new digital campaign, working at iBec is always an adventure. You’ll be able to use your design expertise to affect the visual language of a wide variety of industries. Our projects vary from client to client, so you’ll always be working on something new and different.

Working at iBec is all about collaboration, we don’t silo our teams. You’ll be working alongside developers as they implement your design, discussing how and why it should work the way it does. Our marketing department will look to you for the best way to showcase a particular client’s product for their campaign. Some projects start with branding, move into web design, and then wrap up with digital marketing, which allows you to work on the full range of services we offer collaboratively and cohesively.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Radiates positivity, brings a high level of energy and enthusiasm, works with heart and purpose.
  • Loves the web and brings multifaceted experience. Maybe you’ve worked at a few agencies? Maybe you’ve worked in-house with a brand or two?
  • Is experienced in brand design, you know what it takes to take a brand to the next level through design.
  • Is experienced in web design, and principles of UI and UX design.
  • Has the ability to take a brand and apply it on the web, which will create a positive impact on the experience for our client's customers.
  • Is familiar with Sketch and the Adobe Suite of products.
  • Is familiar with User Story Mapping & Wireframing, getting to the why of a project; not just the visuals
  • Is familiar with design systems and pattern libraries.
  • Feels at home communicating with clients, listening to their feedback, and translating that feedback into beautifully designed work.
  • Has the outstanding ability to self-organize to ensure that we stay on budget and that nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Experience with Asana or a similar project management tool is a plus!
  • Can work within deadlines, and on multiple projects at a time.
  • Experience with accessibility best practices is a plus.

  • This is a hybrid work-from-home role. Our office in Portland, Maine has re-opened and each person has been making an effort to be in the office a few days per week. Depending on your specific needs, we are flexible and can be accommodating.
