Senior UI Designer
Apptopia is seeking a Senior UI Designer to join a dynamic, data-driven team at a scrappy startup in rapid scale mode!
Backed by powerhouse investors like Mark Cuban and ABS Capital, Apptopia specializes in providing competitive intelligence to mobile app publishers, software development kit (SDK) developers, mobile ad networks, and investment funds by estimating worldwide downloads, revenues, and active users for every mobile app. We also provide in-depth SDK analysis and recognition. Our actionable app-store data and intuitive business intelligence tool help companies like Google, Facebook, and Verizon make more informed decisions. As a Senior UI Designer, you will be tasked with supporting Apptopia’s product and marketing design efforts. This position reports directly to the Director of UX.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the product development team to transform complex concepts into polished and usable design solutions via user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect design
- Manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously
- Present and defend design decisions to peers and executive leadership
- Utilize research and data to influence design decisions and validate solutions
- Help define, expand, and maintain an existing design system
- Support QA efforts to ensure features are implemented as intended
- Support marketing design efforts
Who you are
- 7+ years of relevant design experience in the digital product space
- Experience working in an iterative product development cycle
- Have work that showcases critical product thinking, storytelling, and design craft
- Strategic and purposeful in making design decisions by integrating user, business, and technical considerations into your design process
- Can quickly identify when to optimize for speed or quality
- Self-motivated and autonomous; able to successfully prioritize projects
- Proficiency in Figma
