Brand Designer

Windranger is a new product lab built to support one of the most well founded DAOs (over $2.4b), BitDAO. Our mission, using BitDAO as our prototype, is to build out the DAO model by creating software and services for the DAO, advocate and incubate projects on the DAO as proof that the model works, and create partnerships to further the awareness and participation of BitDAO.

Our vision is to blowup conventional and broken organization structures utilizing decentralized technology to create a new model of coordination, economy, and work to empower the next generation of builders and dreamers. 

Windranger is seeking a bold Brand Designer with 4+ years of real-world experience to help tell our brand story and help with crafting our partner's vision. Windranger is part in-house design team, part product and brand agency, and part advisor for BitDAO its community projects. You will be working on a wide range of projects from visualizing data and ideas, to conceptualizing brand identities, to crafting beautiful websites. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of marketing materials, communications and brand experiences while flexing your creative talent. You will

  • Support the design team while collaborating with BitDAO community and partners
  • Visualize and execute compelling design collateral that promotes the Windranger story and the BitDAO ecosystem
  • Participate in all aspects of the design process (research, ideation, design, and testing)
  • Maintain and evolve creative process, asset management systems, toolkits, templates, guides, and Windranger brand collateral
  • Run brand workshops, develop logos, create brand collateral, and build brand kits for new incubator projects 
  • Visualize complex concepts as simple diagrams, compelling hero images, and iconography 
  • Contribute to GTM posts, tweets, and partnership announcements 
  • Juggle many fast moving projects ranging from high impact presentations to complex event launches
  • Contribute to the overall growth and culture of the design team

You have 

  • 4+ years of experience designing brand and marketing assets across print and digital mediums
  • Degree in graphic design, visual arts, new media, or relevant experience
  • Strong eye for aesthetics and command of layout, iconography, typography, and information architecture
  • A knack for sketching and communicating visually by distilling complex information into simple ideas
  • Mastery of current design processes, methodologies, and tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, InVision, Keynote, etc.
  • Humble yet able to defend design decisions using data, user insights, a solid design philosophy, and creative process
  • A passion for exploring new design methods, creative processes, tools, and emerging technologies
  • Portfolio showcasing beautiful brand experiences, visually compelling websites, and solid process

Bonus if you have

  • Experience working or passion in decentralized technology and Web 3 concepts
  • Participated in the greater design community through speaking, writing, hosting events, and showcasing work
  • Knowledge of front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Swift, etc.
  • Video caption, video editing, motion graphic, or animation production
  • Experience maintaining a digital asset management system
  • Experience in 3D modeling and rendering
  • A strong command of copy writing
